Goalz stores the goals you create and the daily logs you record locally on your device. There is no Goalz server, no account, and no sign-in. We cannot see your data, and we do not want to.
If you connect Apple Health, Goalz reads the specific data types you approve (such as activity, weight, or blood pressure) to fill in your logs automatically. This data is processed entirely on your device, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and Goalz never writes to Apple Health. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Goalz.
Goalz can save backup and export files (JSON/Markdown). These files go only where you choose to put them — your device's Files storage, your iCloud Drive, or wherever you share them. They are your files, under your control. iCloud storage you use is governed by Apple's iCloud terms.
Goalz contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs. It makes no network requests to us — we have no servers.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
Data shown in Goalz widgets and the Goalz watch app is shared between your own devices using Apple's on-device and device-to-device mechanisms (App Groups and Watch Connectivity). It does not pass through our hands.
Delete the app and its data is gone (along with any backups you keep in Files/iCloud, which you can delete yourself). The app also includes a full reset option that erases everything after writing a final backup for you.
Goalz is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — because it does not collect personal information at all.
If this policy changes (for example, if a future version adds optional cloud sync), the updated policy will be posted at this address and noted in the app before any new data practice takes effect.
