Privacy Policy

The short version

Hot Tub Trivia Machine does not collect your personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. Your game settings and scores stay on your device. The only data leaving your device is what Apple handles when you make the optional in-app purchase.

Information we collect

None that identifies you. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or usage analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Stored on your device only (we never receive it): game preferences (mode, age difficulty tier, selected categories), team names you enter, scores, and whether you've unlocked Pro. This is stored locally and removed if you delete the app.

In-app purchases (handled by Apple): the one-time "Pro" unlock is processed by Apple. Apple handles all payment information; we never see or store your payment details. We receive only confirmation from Apple that a purchase or restore occurred, so the app can unlock Pro features.

Device motion

The app uses your device's motion sensors (accelerometer) only to detect the tilt-to-answer gesture during a game. This motion data is used in the moment to score the round and is not stored or transmitted.

Children's privacy

The app is a family game intended to be played with the involvement of a parent or adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you have questions, contact us at fitcalik8@gmail.com.

Third parties

Apple, Inc. — App Store and in-app purchases (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not share data with any other third parties, because we don't collect any.

Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete it or remove the app. We hold no personal data on any server.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and the current version will always be posted at this URL. If a future app version adds data collection (e.g. ad measurement), we will update this policy before that version ships.
